Re-topologising a Boomtown robot.

 I am working on the content for projection mapping on one of the stages at Boomtown festival this year. so I spent a couple days re-topologising a model of a robot dancer made by a friend.  

 

The model was taking too long to bind to its skeleton due to it having a very high poly count. it took me much less then i thought it would using a combination of Maya's Live Surface and draw on poly tools. I was told today that its bind time is down to 15 seconds not ideal as most my binds are instant but I'm not familiar with the binding times in Cinema 4D. Perhaps this is normal..
